Sneaker Clinic is South Africa’s rising Kasi brand that specializes in cleaning and restoring shoes and sneakers. The company offers professional washing and restoration services and currently operates two branches, one in Soshanguve and another in Mabopane. Founded by Lesgo Gumede, Sneaker Clinic is a true “kasi story,” growing steadily within the local community.
As the company expands, they are seeking a marketing intern to manage their marketing campaigns both online and offline. This is an opportunity for an individual, not a marketing agency. The ideal candidate should be a local resident with hands-on experience and a proven track record of previous campaigns—digital or physical—that can be shared as references.
Objectives and Requirements:
- Drive social media engagement with content that resonates with township audiences.
- Execute offline marketing initiatives, including posters, activations, and grassroots campaigns.
- Support brand partnerships and collaborations.
- Creatively and effectively tell the company’s story across platforms.
Sneaker Ckinbic is looking for a proactive and resourceful individual who can help the brand connect with the streets while expanding its reach and visibility in both Soshanguve and Mabopane.
